014; breakdown

.....ALMOST

I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of person.
I don't get stressed easily.
I don't get mad easily.
I get really hyper when there is something that excites/angers me.
There are things that push my buttons - like using the the word gay as a synonym for shitty.
There are things that get to my heart easily - like unexpected compliments.
I'd say I'm a pretty simple person.

I was in the middle of calculating my marks for second semester and something just hit me. My marks were going down the hill and I was freaking out about it. I usually have good courses and bad courses to even it out, but apparently not this semester. I felt like I was on the verge of a breakdown - but maybe that's an excuse because I haven't had a good cry in long time. People have breakdowns in university, so I was expecting mine to be coming soon. My wonderful friend reminded my that university isn't something to cry about.  University isn't something to whine about either - it's a privilege. But still, I strive to get the highest marks I can. Why though. To satisfy myself? My parents? Is it cause I'm Asian and it's in my genes? Why do marks matter. Okay maybe it's a kind of important to stay in the program, but I feel like an overachiever. I envy the people who can spit out awesomeness without putting much effort and time into it.

Three more days of classes and a whole lot of school after that.
At least I have Go Radio and Scream 4 to look forward to in the upcoming weeks.

007; I see/k improvement

My study habits need to improve.
I have 2 tests, a paper, and tons of readings to catch up on so I need to hustle. ahh, oiajfioS:NBgsdgf // Coming back from India has definitely worn me out. I'll say some stuff about that later.

Bring Me The Horizon has improved.
In 2006, I used to think they were an untalented shit band with a front man with really nice hair with a lot of annoying fans.
In 2011,they've got the annoying fans and nice hair, but more importantly they've grown as a band. Their songs don't seem so scattered and they've even got Canadian cutie Lights in on one of their new tracks, Don't Go. However, I don't think I'll ever be a fan of the band. Perhaps a guilty pleasure if anything.

A Day To Remember does not need to improve.
I just saw the music video for All I Want. Love itttttttttttt. I love anything with cameos. Pete fckn Wentz. haha......

003; Despicable Me

Just when you think it's all over, something new comes along and takes away this sense of liberty...or maybe liberty was not mine to begin with.

I had a "study session" with a few friends today. It was helpful, as in most of the lingering questions about the chapter were answered, but it was more so relaxing and fun. It's nice to be around friends. It makes things seem less stressful. Hmm, maybe that's why I'm hardly ever stressed.

Speaking of stress, I have so much readings and stuff to do before I head off to India for 3 weeks and it does NOT help that my professor suggest I drop the course. Where are all the supportive professors when I need them the most?

Anyways, I was not as productive as I wanted to be today (oh, despicable me..) but nonetheless I still had fun & on my way to get some food, I saw cute little minions walking around! Being the loser I am, I totally asked for a picture with them. =)  

YAY for exams being over.

BOO for readings that need catching up on.

CHEERS for the drinks and fun that may come my way during this winter break.
